We are delighted to announce another award win – this time in the PrintIT Awards 2024 where we took home the trophy for ‘Software Product of the Year’ for our managed print services billing software, Intelligent Billing.

Award-winning managed print services billing software
The prestigious PrintIT awards recognise excellence in the print IT space, an arena that is a fairly new one for us. Our award entry focused on the success we had, as the first data processing and billing vendor in the managed print service provider sector, delivering the first automated billing solution for managed print service provider PAE Business.
Like the MSP (managed service provider) industry at large, PAE was reliant on manual processes and spreadsheets which are both time consuming and prone to error. Our Intelligent Billing solution gave the company automatic data collection, processing and billing capabilities that covered multiple currencies, languages and tax rules. In addition, the solution enabled PAE to create subscription cost data for their network of nearly 700 VARs – enabling them to onward bill their end customers efficiently and accurately.
The entry also included our focus on innovation – something that PRD was built on and is still recognised for in the market. A few other innovations for the year included:
- Microsoft NCE billing capabilities and streamlined processing: We helped Westcoast Cloud (WCC) capitalise on new opportunities, enabling them to increase annual billing by £46 million (57.5%).
- Automated CDR processing: This facilitated a 10x growth by consolidating multi-carrier billing for our client Talk Telecom.
- Adobe subscription processing: We were the first to introduce this as an automated collection, processing/integration application. It’s now adopted by one of the UK’s biggest IT distributors, enabling them to increase Adobe product sales by 2,000% in the first 3 months alone, including integration with Marketplace and complex collection of Adobe price-list data.
