Created in-house by Fuse 2, ORCA is an innovative and powerful instant request self-serve portal for clients to manage their procurement of communications services. Its innovation lies in its immediate and automated functionality for users eliminating need for manual set-up and eliminating client delays. A 3CX Titanium Partner, which signifies a high level of recognition and partnership within the industry.
Intelligent Billing – functional and strategic objectives met
Instrumental in the successful development and evolution of Fuse 2 ORCA was the role of Intelligent Billing by PRD Technologies and our APIs. The development team at Fuse2 approached us with specific API requests. Our APIs enabled Fuse 2 to develop ORCA to meet its full functional and strategic objectives.
Partners in innovation
Fuse 2 have been a billing partner since 2016 following a client recommendation. This is a great example where our partnership is pushing respective boundaries in innovation, critical for staying competitive in the fast-paced telecommunications industry.
APIs act as a bridge enabling data to be transferred between separate systems in real time in the required format without manual input. APIs we created included when an account is created or updated in ORCA by Fuse 2 clients, the customer related data is immediately added to the Intelligent Billing platform. This enables billing and reporting for call data and services to be available instantly without any manual work.
Other APIs in the project includes Fuse2 being able to immediately check client call spend, creating spend blocks where call spend exceed defined limits. Orca offering real time data analytics. Our APIs were delivered to Fuse 2 within a few weeks following their custom request.

Whenever we ask for anything, they always deliver. White-label billing is a critical part of our business strategy. Fuse 2 offer billing services and invoicing to their reseller partners using functionality available within Intelligent Billing. This allows Fuse 2 to perform the billing-on-behalf-of 90 reseller partners (and growing) to onward bill to their own end customers branding.
Recognising billing technology and capabilities
Fuse2 were acquired by Southern Communications Group in 2022. It is a testament to our partnership and billing capabilities, that despite off-boarding concerns following acquisitions, especially by a leading UK telecommunications & MSP provider, that recognising our billing technology and capabilities is core to Fuse 2 and their continued growth and success.
Intelligent Billing also supports Fuse2 with overseas billing, including invoicing customers in North American and mainland Europe.
